I use the Seekins SRS rail if using a standard sling mount. They have different lengths depending on hole spacing. I use the Atlas rail if using QD flush cup type sling mounts.
Flying and going through the airports suck, regardless of who you’re flying with. For every horror story you hear about Southwest, someone could tell you the exact same story with a different airline. If Southwest is flying where you want to go, with flight times you like and a price you’re...
Sounds good Justin! I probably should have read up on what the Cold Bow Challenge is/was. I see this is NOT a competition so no standardized target size needed. I’ll definitively be getting in on this!!
Justin,
This is your guys’ competition so you guys are obviously free to make the rules as you see fit but a couple points about doing what you mentioned. First, painting a 10” circle on a 12” square is a big advantage to just shooting a 10” circle. That 12” square has nearly twice the surface...
This is not true. Alex Wheeler has been testing zero shift with magnification change for awhile. You can read about it here.

Did you order directly from Pyro Putty? Last week I tried to order from their website and kept getting a “error occurred please try again or try another payment method”. Got this message multiple time with 2 different cards. At the end of the day I get the “ Hey there’s still stuff in your cart...
Justin, I’ll have to measure but going off memory it’s around 35” high. I kind of had to do it that height to not block some other shelves and it’s anchored to the wall now so it sort of is what it is at this point. Seems like a decent height though for being able to reload standing if I wanted...
Thank you guys! I have the Inline Fabrication plates for everything so I’ll only have one piece of equipment on the bench at a time (press, primer, or trimmer). I see a lot of photo of the press all the way to the right side of the bench. I was thinking of putting the mounting plate in the...
Brand new reloader here looking for some help on laying out my bench. I’ve scoured the internet and seen tons of bench pics but have seen very little info on the “why” things are laid out the way they are. Hoping you guys can help me from making any mistakes in my setup. I’ve got a 60” x 30”...
Don’t forget the ZL2 will limit you to two turns on your turret. 20 MOA on the first turn and 18 on the second. You won’t get more than 38 MOA out of that scope no matter what rail you put it on.
Yeah I could see the hooks struggling in sand. Maybe that’s what slowelk was referring to. We have a lot of clay in our soil so they go in easy and they stay put. That being said I don’t think I’d go bigger than “10 on these. That weight of the plate swinging would exacerbate the problem of soft...
Maybe you just need to move them out farther. 😎 That’s 5 shots in my pic and we banged on that for an hour before repainting. It could be our ground is different here, but I’ve seen these (with a 10” plate) shot at 350 with a .300 Win Mag shooting 215 Bergers. We’ve popped the plate off at that...
