    Reloading components

Like Sippy said, shootingbot.com is a great way to setup and alert and keep the feelers out there...depending on what you're looking for you gotta jump fast when you get the email alert. I used them to find primers a while back and if you didn't click the link within a few minutes they'd already...

    Fiocchi vs Hornady Brass

So I know Fiocchi makes good cartridges, but as components is Fiocchi brass equivalent or better than Hornady? Looking to see if anyone has actual specs...we all have our opinions, but is hard data available? Thanks!

Old Timber Cut or View issue?

Thank you for the feedback...the OnX layer for timer cuts only shows one small area in the unit. To be fair though, I think that layer is new-ish and maybe doesn't have historical data. I just bought a .204...it's supposed to be at my FFL today...can't wait to sling some lead with it.

    Best binoculars around 1k?

...and now I am going to be watching the classifieds for some Maven B1.2 Have you tried going to the nearest big box store to have a look and hopefully get them to let you try at dusk?

    Best binoculars around 1k?

The Maven B1.2 is a solid contender...30 day test run.

    Tent or tipi recommendation

If you have the room it's tough to argue with a straight wall and a wood stove, but with the backpack/tipi setups...I am still not sold. It comes down to space and when the stove is out when you're low to the ground you really miss that 4-season tent stopping air flow.

    Is the 204 ruger dead?

There's a pretty full field to compete against at 375, tough market.

    Is the 204 ruger dead?

...to be fair, that's a damn fine axe! haha I may need one of those too. Same for me on the hobbies although I will admit to being new to reloading...amazing what it can do for accuracy. I kept telling myself I wanted to get into it and Covid hit and I had time, but buying components by then I...

    Is the 204 ruger dead?

Is cost a factor with that selection? It would just seem that with volume and availability the 223 has a significant leg up as well. Also, any plans on a 224 Valkyrie making it into your vault?

    Is the 204 ruger dead?

Well, the .375 is the parent case to the PRC family...so I mean you gotta give them some credit there right?

Old Timber Cut or View issue?

A unit I am e-scouting has a lot of areas that look like this...it doesn't show up on Timber Cuts layer, but when viewed in 2D where ridge lines are don't comport with 3D. Just old timber cuts not on the map?

    Is the 204 ruger dead?

I was looking at the ballistics and newer offerings earlier after reading this and it seems to live in the exact space of the 22-250...albeit maybe less recoil? (Ron Spomer article) It's also in an area of shooting that doesn't get a lot of attention. Make a 204 Creedmoor and I'm sure there will...

    Is the 204 ruger dead?

Looks like there have been offerings recent enough that a used gun is likely available on gunbroker.

    Is the 204 ruger dead?

If it needs to be a bolt gun you could re-barrel a LH Savage to 204...don't know what bolt face you'd need, but I am sure it's doable. Another approach that would be easier is T/C Encore...they have a 204 Ruger barrel offering, this would be single-shot though.

    Tent or tipi recommendation

I found a cheap hot tent that I used in the Bighorns last years Peregrine HT. I held up to some pretty good winds, kept us dry for two guys packs/gear. Single layer tent condensation drips as expected...very lightweight and packable. It wasn't cold enough to warrant the stove being used. A lot...
