DUDE!! What an epic hunt! I can’t wait to share the podcast we did about it and the film!
here is my buck that I took 30 seconds after @OXN939 was able to harvest his monster … great trip!!!
Thanks Justin! It’s easy to get gold when you’re talking to Robby! …was tons of fun talking to him. Thanks for listening and sharing. Best of luck to everyone this season!

thanks man!
yea, the nammatj has 2 vents, one in the tent and one in the vestibule, so it should be better with condensation.
and i am way ahead of you ;) ordered a footprint with the tent!
I just set up the Nammatj 2 GT for the first time... PHENOMENAL shelter. sure it's big and wont be the go to for ultra light backpack hunts but for a drop camp in Kodiak, i couldn't be happier! Rock solid, well made and plenty of room for gear and (hopefully not) spending lots of time inside...
Leading a Group into unit 21! My Dad (first time leading pops on a hunt!) my cousin and my uncle (this is a bucket list hunt for my uncle).
we are super excited and all have "any antelope" tags to fill! anybody have any experience with unit 21? would love any intel if someone is willing to...
thanks for all the input boys!
i went ahead and pulled the trigger on a Nammatj 2 GT... i really like the design and i will mainly be using it as a 1 man, but in situations where i need more space and storage room. looking forward to using it in Kodiak and beyond! thanks again for the input!
thanks brother. the Kaitum looks awesome as well, but the footprint is maybe a little bit too large for me i think and its getting up on the 1200 range. i like that it has two entrances but i dont think i like it an extra 200 bucks worth. i think the storage space will be adequate for me with...
hey man, thanks for the input. it looks like on the nammatj there are two really nice air vents to prevent condensation. though this would be my shelter for most drop-camp style outtings, weight is still somewhat of a factor. the alaskan guide dome 4 person weighs in at 23 pounds vs 8 pounds...
ok, guys, although the price tag hurts, for several reasons, mainly durability and design, i believe i have all but made up my mind to pull the trigger on a hilleburg shelter. ill be spending 6 days on kodiak this year and i want to have a comfortable, spacious, bomb proof shelter.
i would...
for CF tripods, check out Two Vets Sporting Goods if you have not already. they make killer, bombproof tripods and great Ballheads that don't break the bank. they are also veteran owned and operated in the US. their "no name jr" tripod is just over 2 pounds and very packable. they have a new...
