Someone no longer wanting to enter a voluntary buy/sell agreement because of the company owners beliefs on restricting constitutional rights hardly cancel culture. Just seems like a logical conclusion if you hold different beliefs. I haven’t seen 1 call for Kevin to be banned from Rokslide or...
I’m kinda surprised anyone is surprised. :)
I’ve read Kevin’s posts on here and he always came across as a backpacker who dabbled in hunting. I never got the impression there was a ton of hunting experience behind his posts. IE one of the new age BHA “hunters”. No surprise he feels the way he does.
It doesn’t. Bowmar is a stain on hunting, but I don’t think he wants to take anything from you. Busse is actively working against the 2nd and affiliated with well heeled groups. It’s very different.
I don’t think I’ve ever done 2 trips for a deer. Probably done 15ish? solo. But like always it’s situational. Only 1 I can think of was deer plus camp otherwise all were day hunts though and mostly in high desert terrain. Also only 2 with a cape that’s also a game changer.
As for a whole...
I don’t really have an opinion about issues in the Everglades because I don’t live in Florida and I’m not knowledgeable about them. Though on second thought I have been to Florida twice in my life so in Internet forum terms I’m an expert.
When mine got stuck in the mount I was able to red locktite it on the barrel and I was able to break it free. I was worried I was going to unscrew my barrel but the suppressor let go first. :D
Hate to say it but tbac would have taken care of it if you'd a sent it to them before you put it back...
I'm always looking for new ways to annoy my wife. I'll have to try this. "Hey honey wanna take the rooster to the adoption center?" Befuddled look. Give her a wink, "you know the rooster to the adoption center!"
I think the biggest take away from this thread is the redefining of "miles back". I was incorrectly assuming it meant distance from where you parked or the nearest vehicular access point. It is also universally referenced to define packout distance. I guess packouts shall now be referenced...
What if "hypothetically" someone was soliciting strangers with preference points to do a party application with them so they could get their point average up to draw a tag every year. In return for that they would essentially guide them. Is a payment made? Services are certainly rendered.
I don’t see much defending of what was described in the OP as fair chase, though the realities of hunting SA are what they are. My understanding is there are pretty much zero free range hunts there. It's the incredible hypocrisy that's being played on.
