N565 6.5 prc
Your barrel will probably speed up some more between 100-200 rounds. I would shoot a cheaper bullet for awhile before you develop a load with the Bergers. I had really good luck with the 147s and N565 also out of my 20” CarbonSix. I am at 120 rounds and it is still speeding up. -
Tikka 223 73 vs 75 vs 80 eldm
I shoot the 75s in my Varmint with NAMMO brass, CCI 450s, and H4895. Barrel is 24" and I run it suppressed. I am getting 3025 fps and have taken a lot of coyotes out to 550 and one big whitetail doe at 440 yards with it. I have shot it in a few club PRS matches and my son used it in a team match... -
Painting a stock
Some matte paint, cheap grout sponges, and about 30 minutes in the garage. No clear and it has held up good so far. Pretty easy to touch up if needed. Wiped everyting down with acetone first.- 260284

147 eldm vs 156 EOL terminal and external ballistics
I have shot 3 big bodied Kansas deer with factory 147s out of my 6.5 PRC. I am working up a load for them in my 20" barrel and they are more accurate, better velocity, and better SD than the factory load out of the 24" barrel I took off. 6.5 prc lightweight loads powder suggestions
I am playing with N560, the 130 Norma, and the 130 SGK. I have them up to 3161 out of a 20" Carbon six suppressed. The barrel only has 90 rounds down it, so it will probably speed up some. I have not hit pressure yet. -

There is a picture on here somewhere of the 130gr TGK that has been sectioned. The jacket is much thicker than the original SGK and it looks to be a different material. -

Tag for later. I am working up loads with Lapua brass, Federal GM standard primers, 147s with N565, 130 Norma & 130 TGK with N560 for a 20" 1-7.5 CarbonSix on a Tikka action. So far I am up to 57.5 gr of 565 under the 147 and hit 2833 fps with good accuracy. I have more loaded that I will... -
