This is my Blaser R8 in .30-06 on a rock in the Brooks range from last year. The stock is a custom carbon fiber stock, painted by a guy I met on 24hourcampfire. Amazing accuracy and a heavy scope worth carrying for me (Swaro Z8i).
I have so many dang packs......it's hard to pick. I generally rotate between a Kifaru Late Season, a HMG 4400 windrider, Gossamer Gear Mariposa, Stone Glacier Cirque, ULA Catalyst. I haven't gotten into the Mystery Ranch collection lately (Metcalf, Crew Cab, G6, Glacier), but I have loved them...
now you tell me.......there is none around Atlanta. Should I unpack my sheep pack (not Kuiu)? I could throw in some Arcteryx? Is my mullet gonna be ok......don't tell me that's outta style!

I’ve gut put my set up together 7000 Muskeg, 24” Ultralight with organizer and hip belt pockets. I be had it in the woods on a couple of overnighters and find it to be very comfortable. Now what to do with my other packs
I’ve shot three sheep with my NULA 30-06, and one with a .260....tipped right over. Same thing with the grizzly, but I hit a bit high and severed the spine. Mountain goat on the other hand, I’ve seen absorb some lead, and keep moving.

Since my original Long Hunter in 2003 (or prior), I’ve had more than 10 Kifaru packs. Just ordered an Urban Ruck. Anyone else afflicted?

Hello all,

I’m in the same boat. I am getting a NULA in .308 for an upcoming trip to the Brooks Range. I have a spare light weight Leupold that I might use, but this Nightforce looks interesting! I’m a lefty and had a bad experience with a Stiller action ejecting brass into the parallax knob, then back...
