Asthma in the backcountry
I'd add another voice for Singulair and keeping allergies under control which can exacerbate the Asthma. Most of the medicines outside your OTC allergy meds take a week or two to get in your system so you are running out of time for this year on figuring out what works beyond your basic...- ericF

Passing the time while hunting
Another vote for the Kindle. Its lightweight and great to pass the time if you are a reader. You also aren't limited to a single book and can jump around if you want.- ericF

CO blaze orange
I've never had a problem with the cheap orange vests, but I prefer as minimum flair as possible. As cnelk said, don't forget a hat and a orange bandana or panel for the backpack. -
