I have two non-illuminated X5's A 5-25 and a 3.5-18. The 5-25 went to Alaska and had no issues bouncing around in super cubs between a sheep and a moose. I haven't really used that scope since then, but the 3.5-18 has been well used. It is on a Ruger American Predator that is not treated...
If you liked the old system better send CPW an email and let them know. They did a survey and there was a slight preference towards this new method. CPW was going to keep the old method around because of the issues people are hitting such as a single time, mini leftover day, etcs. However...
If they make it to the leftover list/reissue preview then they have already been offered to the 5 people. If one of those 5 people takes a >5 point tag you will never see it and never know that it was turned in.
The problem is that this isn't a one and done event. Due to all the burn scars from the fires last year there have been multiple mudslides over the last month that have closed I-70. There will also be additional mudslides over the next month as they try to fix things that will impact the...
They did exactly that this year and called it the Secondary draw. Everything you said is their reasoning for implementing the Secondary draw as they wanted to reduce the crush that they get on Leftover day and push the majority of returned/not payed for tags to a random draw. Fortunately or...
Barnes 127gr LRX is the best i've found. Reloaded the 127 for a while before I figured out the factory load was just as accurate. Good luck finding it right now though.
They also have the fishing type shirts that are super popular now with a hood and facemask in an Antler Tan Camo. They are marked $30 down from $60, and then another 30% off bringing them down to $21...
Probably closer to 0%. Youth have 100% preference and my son didn't draw either the deer tag which had 8 left or the Antelope tag with 2 left which means there were quite a few youth being put in. If there were alot of tags left then you might have had a chance, but anything desireable and...
What was the remedy. I read through some of the review, but didn't get a chance to watch the videos. I have cleaned out the pockets of my Kuiu, but still have a crazy squeak on one side.
I think it has more to do with Kyle Rittenhouse than that alone. Kyle was wearing a BRCC shirt or hat in a picture. BRCC basically came out and said we don't support him at all. Some people took it as they had no ties to him and others took it as they talk a big game about guns, but don't...
Remember that Youth have 100% preference for the secondary draw. So if there is a desirable tag and there is only 1 then it is highly likely that a youth will get put in for it giving an adult 0% chance. As someone with a 1'st year hunter I'm not complaining, but it does add uncertainty.
Also what many people may not realize is that youth have 100% priority in the secondary draw. So your already slim chances basically disappear.
The new system provides preference for youth hunters. Youth hunters have 100% preference in the secondary draw. What does this mean? The secondary...
Thats the exact same wording as what was in the 2020 big game regulations and it was legal in 2020. I'm not trying to be argumentative, but just want to make sure that anybody that is using one makes sure that it is still legal to use. Here is the response that I received from CPW for the 2020...
