What do you look for or expect from a guide?
I’ve never been on a guided hunt. If I did, I would expect the guy to know the hunting area like the back of his hand, the genetics in the area of the animal we are hunting, and be a decent guy to be around. New hunting gear for this new year you guys are excited about?
Pulled the trigger on getting a custom rifle from Viking Armament this year. Have a shape charge from Kifaru on order. Plus got a used 2020 Hoyt bow a month ago. I’m pretty excited to see how these pan out this year- Back Country Hunter 2

Which TAC event this year?
Park City typically has the most vendors. I’ve done that one the past two years. Mountain Archery Fest isn’t as big and is slightly cheaper for vendors. Just another option. Trying the MAF in Shell, WY this year.- Back Country Hunter 2
