This right here^^^... I 100% agree with. If i had to wait anything more than 6 months i dont think i could go through with it. Just seems unreasonably long and not worth it
Ended up being able to try out a few packs in the last few days. I decided to go with the Stone Glacier Talus 6900. Its more pack than i need but if i ever decide i want to go on a longer hunt or pack a few extra goodies i know i will have the space to do it. Thank you everyone for the responses...

I have a tikka t3x in 300 win mag, paired with a leupold vx 5. Thankfully it provides just enough eye relief to just catch a couple of eyebrow hairs at most lol

One thing i always did with my new boots was soak them in a tub and wear them around a bit soaking wet. Seemed to help break them in a lot quicker (all leather lineman style boot). Hope this helps
