I certainly understand having a budget believe me, but for a couple hundred more the Vanguard Endeavor HD is a lot more scope. I've got tons of $20 off coupons for cabelas if you needed one and that would put you at $379 for much better glass. Plus until May 31st they have a rebate for a free...
I've had it several times and its pretty good. I know Pat and Bitsy from when they lived in Talkeetna. My hunting partner is an investor with the company. That being said, if we're using wheelers or argos we bring the real stuff every time. Why not right?
I bought mine directly though Vanguard as well. I tried to order through Cabelas to use a $20 off coupon but they wouldn't deliver to AK for some reason, even though it said shipped directly from manufacturer. Free shipping from Vanguard though. Weird. Sent in the rebate immediately. How do...
The big brown van dropped one off to me today as well. I didn't get much time with it but was impressed with what I saw. I sent in the rebate form and upc from the box for the free Abeo 243 tripod. Don't know how good it is but it's a free $170 tripod so it can't be all bad.
$599 on sale for the 15x45x65mm seems like a good deal if it's decent glass. It's a bit heavy but pretty compact at 11.5". I need to check one out here locally and compare it to some others I guess. I just don't need to spend more on a spotter as I don't use one alot.
That's the problem I'm having. I haven't been able to find out hardly anything about them. That doesn't inspire much confidence but Cabelas does have a good warranty and return policy. I was hoping someone would come out of the closet and admit to buying one, or at the very least looked...
Anybody had a chance to look through one? They're on sale right now and the 15x45 looks pretty nice. I'm not sure who makes them but I'd guess it's Vortex, maybe Meopta. Just looking at maybe buying a spotter as I've never had one. I don't rely on them as my kind of hunting they aren't...
