    A recession is brewing…May mean nothing in this premium hunt, however it is likely to slow things down for a couple years. If nothing else, it may pause the inflation in these hunts for a year or two.

    I'm coming back from Norman Wells to Edmonton this September. I'll land in YEG around 7PM and catch an 8:30AM out next morning. Will I need a PRC Raid Test in Edmonton to get in the US? Does anyone know if this is possible in Edmonton with such a small window of time I'm there?

    I love my Kimber Montana in 308. Its the families go run - my daughter took an AK Grizzley 8' 2" this spring, and I took a cow and bull elk, Muley buck and two antelope - all this year. 60 yrds to 400 yrds. With ammo availability and cost I'm dumping my 300 WSM and 270 WSM...can't get ammo...

    Just bought Kimber Mountain Ascent 6.5 - what ammo worked best in your mountain ascent?

    There were a significant number of applications this - I think Go Hunt republished FWP article. Up +30%. This trend will continue until the economy cools off in 2023 or 2024. If you are used to going every year, more likely every other year if you hold 2 points.

    In July FWP will draw you position in line. Make sure you go for elk only for the best chance to draw. If you’re really committed to deer and elk, then go for the Combo tag.

    Rule of thumb is about 300 combos and many more elk only tags go out in the alternate drawing. Last year was far more and they essential were first come first serve by October. This year will probably be more normal. So if you want the best odds - go for elk only.

    I wonder if the the lock downs will impact Ottawa elections. Canadians still have free elections...I think.
