    If you had built $30K of equity in your home, would you take out a (line of credit) to do a sheep hunt in the NWT. You are 40 years of age and making $65K/year. This is totally hypothetical ;) .

    Cabelas Bargain Cave Petition

    I think the decline of Cabela's is a huge opportunity for companies like Kuiu, Kennetek, Go Hunt and other specialist retailers. I left Cabela's years ago and never shopped at Bass Pro; The best products are web based and discovered by serious sportsman on forums like this.

    Purchased my copy and really enjoyed the super videography. The story was great. I bought the DVD as I'm going on my first trip to NWT in 2020. I was hoping to learn some things that would me enjoy the trip more. Great job Billy.

    You can do it cheaper in BC if you do a caribou, elk, black bear, goat, moose. NWT is going to cost $45K minimum before tags and extras.

    Good advice. Part of the reason the wife is okay with me going is I usually take one of the girls with me. In this case the 17 year is going. Maybe if you go for the sheep and she does the Caribou the trip will happen for you.

    Thanks everyone - keep the advice coming. What lb test line should I spool with 8 lbs? What size spinners Mepps 1 and 2? I have those little Diawa spin real and pole kits. They pack easy. Passing time in the tent - I'll bring a couple books. I don't want electronics if I can help it.
