If the conservatives flip Canada, what are the top priorities for change in conservation policies. Two top priorities include slowing down the hand off of Crown land to tribes and Grizzly policy in BC and NWT. Could these changes and others be possible now?
Turkey,I decided to take advantage of theSG 20% sale. Went with the Sky Talus and picked up a couple accessories too. Appreciate your comments. I've now left MR for SG....another converted adventure hunter I suppose.
I have several Goat and Sheep hunts book for the next few years. I run a 2017 Marshall I used a few years back on my one and only NWT hunt in 2022. Finally able to head back to NWT and wondering if my older body would benefit from an upgrade? I like the Marshall, but it is heavy. Thoughts on...
I probably would. Ask for more than $104K is risky. You could use a HELOC and HODL for a bit longer...is the interest worth paying while you wait for BTC to make its next move up...hard to know.
It's like in Michigan, a guy trapped and killed a wolf in southern Michigan. There haven't been wolves there in 150 years. Still waiting to see what comes of the whole thing.
Jake's well known on Rockslide so you can check that out. I found him as a referral from here. I've never hunted bears with anyone else. My experience with Jake's been really good. 4 grizzlies and 1 black bear in 2 hunts with my daughters. I'll be going back with my 3rd daughter in a year...
We had another great hunt with Jake. This was my second daddy daughter hunt with Jake. We took two Grizzlies and a super black bear. The biggest bear squared over 9ft. If you are looking for a fun and exciting Alaska adventure give Jake a call. We paired this up with some super fun halibut...
Honestly, I knew absolutely nothing about western/mountain hunting. I have no friends that have experience western hunting - shoot, I don't even have any friends that do serious back packing. So I did what anyone would do - I bought the Mystery Ranch Metcalf because Randy said too. Since then...
I just picked up a new Kimber Mountain Ascent in 308. Before I settle on the Nosler 165 accubond, I was wondering if there is a factory load with a better BC to help with those +400 yard shots. Thoughts?
Now that is funny….my oldest who
I’m taking to BC next year was worried about that. I told her not to screw this hunt up! The other two are still trolling….
Life insurance in place to ensure everything is paid off should I fall off a cliff or get eaten buy a bear.
another thought…most guys whitetail hunting climbing in trees will have more claims per hunter than adventurer hunters who are cared for by a guide.
