    Agreed wyo - just sucks I can’t find a local smith who will install my WTO switch lug! I can’t see a reason to buy the mag bolt. 284 will do anything reasonable. I have a CM, so can’t justify the 6.5 flavor, but I’ve always wanted one.

    Yea, mine is going on a switch barrel Tikka I’m setting up. I hate the idea of $400 for another bolt. I figure a .284 is about perfect t Max out a .308 bolt face on a Tikka. I’m not in the magnum camp anymore.

    depends on perspective :). Unfortunately, that’s less than half of what these are readily available for. I agree though. I won’t be purchasing anything from Midway on the back side of this pandemic situation.

    Pretty sure they use that generic picture for all seconds - it’s CGI, not an actual image. I’ve read some reviews on the seconds that say red tip.
