    Colorado draw results 2024

    Point creep got me, I believe it is due to the 5% reduction in NR tags this year. In the past 12 years, it has gone from an over-the-counter hunt to a 1-point draw, to now I assume a 2pt draw. Sucks! No Colorado for me. Chasing Elk in Idaho in September though!

    Winter house heat setting?

    68 on the thermostat. Fireplace insert burns all winter long. Keeps the basement at 75 probably. At camp we are solely on wood heat. Still trying to figure out the wood stove. Currently it’s at 76 in the main room..

    SKRE gear help

    I run hard scrabble pants through all season. I have 2 sizes so I can get an additional set of base layers one under the larger ones. I’m all about layering. I also run a hard scrabble jacket as well, and just layer up once you get to your hunting locations. I love my SKRE gear!
