Silly dog question

I haven't seen it personally either. But I've heard about it from a lot of people.. if that doesn't tug at your heart strings you don't have one.

410 for Turkeys?

A buddy of mine has a pretty sweet .410 for his 9 year old. I've watched him kill a couple birds and stone them. farthest one was 39 yards. 3" 7 shot tss. I also talked to a guy that shoots geese with .410 tss loads. Seems to work good. For gobbling birds, I'd say anything less than 40 yards...

Good info, thanks guys. The late season is Oct 21th-Nov 5th. That is pretty consistent with what I've heard about the deer in the Jarbridge. I'm going to give it my best shot and try to find one of those really nice bucks, but I already know i'm going to have a hard time passing a 160" deer...
