I fell on my other one in Idaho this year on my lightweight deer rifle and killed a buck at 700 yards the next day. I have three other vortex scopes and haven’t had any issues. I was initially worried about the same thing with vortex certainly not having the reputation of Nightforce or the...
I got two of these because of how lightweight it is for its class of objective and magnification range. My only gripe with this scope is the magnification adjustment is pretty stiff to twist without the throw lever. It gathers light really well and I was actually pretty impressed with the glass...
Selling a like new Razor FFP with a moa reticle. Scope is only a few months old and has never seen the field. Just a few range trips and sat in a safe. Includes the pro series 30 mm low rings, bubble indicator, mk machining throw lever and matching butler creek flip caps. Still have original box...
This is an old thread but this gives my sails a bit of wind back. I just ordered one and as soon as I ordered it I made the mistake of reading forms and it deflated my excitement a bit hahah. It seems like a lot of people had a lot of bad to say about it and very little good so it had me pretty...
That’s not a bad idea man probably lots of people feel the same way as you. Maybe they could do something like a donation to one of the conservation groups they’re associated with? Could be a cool way in too!
I’d have to say what @croben said was absolutely spot on for me as well. The DH lites get me through a lot of the year and then when I get bad weather and really cold temps I switch to the m7. I just ordered the new 206 for summer scouting and august/early sept hunts. They seem like they will be...
I’ve loved all the stuff I’ve owned from them. Super light and packable down. The pant design really provides a custom fit and that’s probably my personal favorite offering from them!
I’m 100% with you on this one. I wish it was beefier rather than a lite version. I already feel like it’s toward the lighter end of a lot of down jackets.

One mule deer at 713 yards with the Berger 156 EOL roughly 2025 impact velocity according to my calculator. First shot was double lung then a poor follow up shot that was rushed broke the back leg. He was dead within about 45 seconds.

I’m with you on this one. I really prefer the lites. But they are a bit heavy in comparison to many other early summer ish pants. I’ll be curious if the zipper there bothers me as well.
Kurt (founder) talked about it on a podcast I highly doubt they ever would. They kinda have found their niche in the market so I think they’ll stay the course in what they’ve done so far.
If you want a smoother cycle with less of a valley I think the 80% could be good! 85% might dump a bit more but not too much. Just something you could consider. I too felt my v3x 33 was stiff cycle when I switched from an Atlas. But I lowered it from 75 to 70 and have loved it and don’t notice...
