It’s not like it used to be.
Im done with the shop local crap. You’re usually getting price-gouged far above the reasonable price, because they claim the convenience of local over driving 20-50 miles or waiting a few days for shipping.
And where I am, the merchants don’t appreciate the effort...
This^^
The wife and I have been having a ball all over again. Been 5 years since the youngest left for greener pastures and it’s like we’re dating again. It’s all how you look at it. The kids aren’t kids anymore.

I would suggest an Ultra. The touring bikes are set up for taller guys more so than the Street and Roadglides. Then put the tourpack on a docking system so that when you aren’t touring, you can take it off easily and put a sissy bar and pad on. I’ve done this on my 18 Ultra, and last 3 different...
Stick with a 4-man or less. The tent pads are usually only about that big. And you aren’t pitching it anywhere that isn’t a designated campsite anyway. I would highly suggest going with a floor as the mosquitoes will shorten your trip otherwise.

Never have had any problems with my American made 2004 Polaris 700. Regular maintenance just like my other vehicles.

Well there’s your problem, nock the amount of mowing down to about 45 minutes worth. You’ll save on blades and have more time to hunt and drink beer.

Actually I would highly recommend one right on the road. Don’t miss Kirkham springs, a bunch of different temp pools and waterfalls into a couple. If you’re staying at the Southfork, get up early and head down. You’ll most likely have it to yourselves midweek.

Be sure to buy your National park pass ahead of time. It’ll save you if you’re planning on hitting that many.
Get an apple pie in Fruita in Capitol Reef after a short hike into Hickman Bridge. Get there early tho.
Heads up on Angels Landing: timed permits are required now. Ever since covid...
Oh? I guess the manufacturer and the installer were both wrong then. Must have gotten lucky then, as it still looks great after 5 years. Thanks for your insight tho.
