Burns and deer
Agree with everyone that it depends. One aspect to consider though, is I've seen lots of tracks in fresh burns. I don't think the deer hang in the burns but they must get some nutrient from the fresh ash. Don't overlook a burn from that year. Best burns are the ones that jump ridges and leave... -

I dropped my Aoudad last week with a 280 AI 140gr Accubond at 350 yards and it pretty much collapsed on the spot. -
Camping Unit 29,30? Barbary sheep
A floorless tent will work but when in gets windy your tent is going to get very dusty. You could try and stack rocks around the base of the tent to cut down on the draft. Snakes won't be a worry in February but if you're running a stove you might get a scorpion or other visitor trying to soak... -

Quilts: Katabatic or El Coyote?
Used my 10 degree El Coyote quilt in the high teens with no issues. Was worried I would be cold so wore my puffies and had to take them off because I was too warm. I move a lot in my sleep and don't have an issue with drafts as others complain about.- NMBigGame
