Yes, this is a perfect example of a company looking forward at this and taking a really great run at it. Well played Sig.
Here's something I've learned about these chassis things in growing pains with mdt and various platforms and seeing some of the new chassis based systems. You need to watch...
Agree the AR's got a head start on the modularity/lego/build at home for various disciplines but the bolt guns are coming along.
Agree the weights still too heavy on on lots of builds but not all is chassis itself, optics mounting and optics themselves are often poorly chosen for hunting...
so many weird laws, caliber restrictions, capacity restrictions, dimensional restrictions, Canada is full of them, you can get 5 round mags, it came with one, surely will get there in Canada and have to stick to plugged 5 back in this thing that it came with at some point as they keep strangling...
What does 21st century rifle look like to you?
To me it looks like this;
1. Adjustable LOP (fit everyone instantly, no tools)
2. Take down or folding butt stock (fit in packs)
3. Modern cartridge/ballistics (less powder more performance, everyone can shoot it well)
4. Detach 10 round mags
5...
Seriously, think about what happens when the midterms and the country turns true red (not rino red)? All the corrupted and captured criminals no longer able to protect each other or themselves and then once the good guys get in they can expose all the criminal stuff these people they replaced...
Unfortunately there's still a shat ton of people the refuse to acknowledge the evils in this world so it's going to get a lot worse until they do. Like near death experience (civilization or personal or financial etc.) so hang onto your hats boys, things are just getting to the good stuff...
look for the swaro 65 vs kowa 66 I did sometime back if you want to know how this will go, this fov thing is interesting, if you actually spend time looking or game in a spotter then ok, not thinking 55mm class would be for those guys, most do that with binos and use spotter for judging, need to...
with 10 rounds in the mag add 6 oz or just over 8.5 lbs, over pack unless filling meat tags near truck then a Harris 9-12 at 14 oz keeps it hair under 9.5 lbs, sure enjoy that 6.5 ft/lbs recoil though, being able to watch it all in scope and having 10 rounds on tap is pretty awesome
Lol, looks like a swing and a miss. Funny to see them chasing kowa around. Stupid swaro....here’s an idea, maybe build some gear that matches its price tag for a change? Pricks😉
Ya it’s gonna be popular for a bit and the 7prc will be no different...surprised to hear the western is findable. So is that because demand?
And to the folks bringing up the 20th century options...wrong thread, op knows his shizzo and clearly after a 21st century option.
The bc and sd on...
totally right, start building 3.6" target squares lol...kidding, I thought that's what you meant by headache ...the stuffing of 10 units into the 4 we already know so well, we definitely know what a handful of inches is, we handle that multiple times a day, might not get any dates telling the...
well those .25/7mm guys are like bmw guys...if you're one and you need one of these middle childs then the this 21st century slightly stronger than 7rm would be the future 7mm to get behind, run percentages of xtra sd/bc/distance at 2000 fps/ and especially recoil against all the others I...
it's 6.5 or .30...the 300 prc would be your thumper if trying to envision the future of what will take over the 20th century kings shoes (300wm)...pretty much anything in between will be a lottery if it will catch and become a 21st century legend and the 300 prc will be that 21st century 30 cal...
love the 6.8 western on paper, only problem with it is who's backing it, if you can't get the hoard all over it and the big manufacturers behind it from ammo on up...best of luck, another wsm flash in the pan, but it does have brilliant numbers and is a true 21st century take on ballistics at...
when the dust settles it will be the 6.5 prc you'd want then, on factory ammo it adds another ~250 yards over the creed and it will be the one that stands the test of time over the other two options and most likely to have the most readily available ammo for the longest period of this century...
and don't forget also that it is the 21st century .308...factory ammo will be the most readily available over all others for the next 100 years, and it will be affordable ammo so you can shoot a lot, combine that with it's a barrel life champ...it will be one of the longest wearing barrels for...
you'll likely see you don't need the longer neck extension as you have plenty of adjustability in just the legs, also the short through neck piece you can drill the little plastic thread in cap on the bottom and run a loop of para up through and knot on the inside so you can hang a rock bag or...
the 21st century 308 is the 6.5 Creedmoor, if factory ammo, set and forget, you can do no wrong to 600 yards, find ammo anywhere anytime, then that is #1 choice, beware the man with only one gun, you get intimate with a 6.5 cm and nothing is going to walk away from you, no other ammo will be...
lol I thought just maybe too busy, units of 10 or units of 4...I guess it all depends if your trying to whoop ass on steel or fill the freezer and put some bone on the wall? ;) I'm with you on the units of 4...less likely to give headaches haha
ps it's can't be the Trijicon lol
