    Best long range short action build?

    300wsm or 7wsm if it's mainly for hunting. i like my 300 wsm, but it's light and i don't shoot it much for fun, just hunting. i have a 6.5-47 that i shoot a lot and would feel comfortable to 800 on animals. i shoot the 6.5 to 1200-1400, but i wouldn't do that on an animal.

    I have quite a few nfa items in a trust. I don't know if this is frowned on, but i just followed a tutorial on one of the suppressor websites and used quicken will-maker and have had zero issues with all my transfers. i think the generic form would be just fine.

    in regards to caliber i would not do 7mm or less because you mentioned elk. i know you can kill an elk with a 6mm or 7mm or frankly a rimfire will kill one. i would stick to the .30's. i've had and have a lot of high dollar customs including the 280AI you mentioned, and i love the 300 RUM...

    where was that? i'd like to do some "filming" of those lovely things myself;) had a handful of run in's with them in idaho archery hunting before they changed the law to where you could legally shoot them. they can be a little intimidating when you're only packing the bow.
