Area 4 was not a good hunt. When I talked to the game warden and biologist later in the season, noone, including other species hunters and hikers, had even seen a goat in the entire area. I of course, saw nothing either. I heard through the grapevine, that someone may have harvested one at the...
You still liking this set up Ryan? I'm putting together something similar with a Bartlien #4 carbon, Bat Vampire, and folding XLR mg chassis in 30 nosler, 20" but will be supressed not braked.
I had not reviewed back in quite a while in that thread, yes he does identify himself as a business partner, as well as being on the patent, I had forgotten that post, and was apparently mistaken. Perhaps I didn't understand while talking to George. Either way, the business is still going to...
Not sure where you got that I was saying charges were fabricated or that I was sugar coating, I stated facts of the situation, nothing more. And I agree, especially in federal Court with a very high prosecution rate, I am a LE officer so your not saying anything I don't know, however it is not...
No need to jump to conclusions without getting accurate information.
I got a chance to talk to George (owner of Badlands Precision), had a good long conversation with him about many things related to the business. I am employed in the Justice system, and will preface this with a reminder of how...
I think a couple of you are confused.....I don't plan on hunting bear up there at all, if I shoot a bear it is because it was trying to eat me. REALLY hope that doesn't happen ha ha
Shot the 250 SBDII from my .338 Norma yesterday. Used labradar during my shooting, velocity average was 2877 fps, 11 fps spread in 4 rounds. At 970 yards, all rounds were exactly the come ups my applied ballistics app told me using Badlands advertised .410 G7, dialed using my March 2.5-25x52...
.050" is where the .338 250 SBDII shot best in my .338 Norma mag as well. The standard first gen 270 SBD shot best at .060" off. Have also shot the. 277 128 as well as the .277 140, from what I have seen, they like at least .030" jump, but not much more than .120" or so. Have taken several...
I put this thread together over on LRH starting about a year ago, as far as I have seen this is about the best compilation of data for these bullets in relation to field testing for loading, bc confirmation and terminal performance...
Looking to see if there are any used LBO's someone would be willing to part with. Pretty much any setup would interest me, though if I were to choose it would be the base-tarp-vestibule. Have my wife, an 8 year old boy, 6 year old girl and a little one, as well as a couple suckers that call...
Meat. Like 4ish lbs, more or less is fine. I don't measure, I just cook enough for the wife and I, plus 3 kids, and some for leftovers.
1 chopped white or yellow onion.
1 small can cambells tomato soup. Half the can again water/beer/dark colored soda, whatever.
2 packets taco or fajita...
Yup, anything with controlled round feeding type extracter claw. Ruger M77's/Hawkeyes, 98 mausers, as stated above some of the winchesters, MRC, and so on have them too.
Also, I know the struggle of type 1, my wife is type 1, we always take a solar battery pack, a little over a lb, plus all the extra supplies for the dexcom and tandem pump. Honey sticks bring her up fast and are light/small too, she hates the glucose tabs. I also always carry a couple of the...
The best way I have found to drop weight on the weapon support system, is to ditch the bipod, get a small arca rail on the bottom of your stock, and then use your tripod for support, it is much more versatile for shooting positions and hard terrain, and takes away the weight of your bipod...
