    Tikka T3X Compact recoil pad?

Have you printed the list of templates? Print them off and you can usually find something close enough to work. https://www.walnutcreekoutdoors.com/content/LS_templates.pdf

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

I appreciate that too. I’m trying that Hornady load out as well. I don’t hand load and that seems easy. I’m too much of a coward to go all in on the black hills 5.56 77 TGK load.

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

Has anyone shot the Stand1Armory 77 TMK ammo? Also, stupid question, what does RCP mean? I just want to make sure I don't order something that won't fit a mag or something. I have a stock Tikka and the Stand1 stuff says 223 Rem RCP 77 TMK...

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

Thanks guys. I was looking under .223 instead of 5.56 but I thought you couldn’t fire 5.56 in .223 guns due to pressure?

    Hunting let’s say 0-300, steel 0-600

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

I don’t see them anywhere. Any ideas? I should have added, this will be a trainer primarily but I want something I can shoot a deer with so from what I’ve found the 77 SMKs aren’t a great choice.

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

I’m sorry I don’t see a simple answer, but I did my part and bought the gun. What’s the best choice for factory ammo? Leaning toward the 73 gr ELDM but I’m hoping someone can let me know if I’m making a mistake there.

KRG Echo - Sporterish version of bravo for tikkas

Yeah for the echo. I meant that I think it’s the first KRG stock for long action Tikkas?

KRG Echo - Sporterish version of bravo for tikkas

Also if I’m not wrong isn’t the bravo only available for short actions?

Is a 1-9.25" 243 worth putting money into?

I have an older Ruger M77 .243 that I’m almost positive is 9.25” twist and it shoots everything from 55-100 grain bullets great

Perceived noise levels from a radial brake vs a side port?

I’m curious about this too. I took the tikka radial brake off a 6.5 PRC because it’s for hunting but I tried desperately to find validation that the radial brake would be ok to shoot occasionally at a deer without immediate harm. Never found it though.

Mono bullet experience in slower cartridges?

Pretty much all whitetail hunting inside 200 yards in Wisconsin. But the 80 grain TTSX at 243 speeds seemed to make a nice wound and usually exit depending on angle. The 120 TTSX seemed to exit as well but just didn’t seem to leave as good of a wound cavity or blood trail. It’s not a huge sample...

KRG Bravo 6.5 PRC Polymer Mags?

Does anyone make them? The only ones I can find are the MDT 300 WSM/6.5 PRC metal ones and they’re fine, but I’m curious if anyone makes a polymer one that will work?

    MDT Oryx Chassis

I agree. And to reiterate I do like it. I just like those other options a little more.

    MDT Oryx Chassis

I like mine, I have one on a Tikka 6.5 CM. However, it’s a gun I don’t really hunt with. It wouldn’t be my first choice for a hunting rifle. It’s kind of heavy and doesn’t have any MLok slots besides on the bottom. I have a Magpul hunter and a KRG Bravo and I’d prefer both for a gun I’d hunt...
