    300WSM vs 300WM short barre hunting rifle

    I think if I was shooting copper in a 300 win mag I’d use the 150 TTSX or else the copper 130 grain TTSX but you’d have to hand load that, which I don’t. Barnes ammo shows like 3125 fps for that out of a 308 so I’d think you could really get it moving in a 300 win mag.

    is the 120 ELDM the best (and lightest) light for caliber 6.5 bullet? This would be for whitetail only. I don’t see anything below 120 that is marketed as a hunting round for anything above coyotes.

    I sighted in the 100 ELDVTs I’m gonna shoot a couple does at some point in December. Not sure what I’ll get for pictures, depends on when and where I can get them but I’ll report back!

    I don’t reload otherwise I’m almost positive I’d have a 22 creedmoor. Really exciting cartridge but factory ammo limits me right now. Does anyone know when the Hornady stuff won’t be exclusive through 1 supplier?

    This is my other problem is I really don’t NEED another rifle. My stable of centerfires has enough overlap as is… I already have a .223 bolt gun so even 22 ARC seems redundant. Maybe I should stop buying guns.

    I had a B14 that broke the extractor, when they replaced it I had two different types of ammo then fail to extract as well and I had the tap the bolt open to get the brass out.

    Yeah I’ve had bad experiences with Bergara as well. Good customer service but the second rifle was just as problem laden as the first one. I doubt they’re all bad, but I’ve seen enough from my end.
