    I recently picked up a Kryptek Vellus pant for whitetail. The quality seems good. Comfortable as all get out. A little shallow in the crotch,but nothing I can't survive. Waiting for a good deal on the matching jacket.

    I told the brother in law I just might as well wear Carheart bibs. I'm with you loggerchas. I don't fare well if my neck is cold. I always have a neck gaiter in the pack. Hands too. I hate mittens. But my insulated elk skin jobbies are the cheese. Wear them plowing snow with the quad.

    Will Colorado take your preference points with a second choice draw? I've never applied for a second choice unit. Our elk hunts have always been first choice. I'm looking to apply to unit 66 for deer,and would consider a plan "B". Just curious about the preference points.

    Pretty interesting. I've been thinking about a knock around 22/250. Might need to take a look at these. Looked at the Ruger American,and TC Venture. Not wild about either. The brother in law bought a TC,still waiting for a turn behind the trigger. How horrible is the trigger on these XPRs ?
