    Swarovski or vortex?

Ya. This will be my first/only spotter. I'm just wondering if HD in the vortex will out preform the non HD Swarovski? Maybe someone that has compared the 85mm vortex to the big Swarovski.

    Shed hunting

I recently moved to castle rock from grand junction Colorado. I used to hunt sheds in GJ all the time and was successful. I have since found new hunting areas for elk that are right around tree line or higher and I doubt they are in there when they drop sheds. I have yet to find one in four...

    Recoil killing my cheek!!

My buddy asked me to check some forums for him about the recoil of his muzzy. It's a tradition style .54 cal. With the stolid wood stock. He was complaining about it nailing his cheek bone. Of coarse I razzed him and he then handed me the gun and he wasn't lying. I shot it twice and handed it...

    Colorado Wilderness

I have hunted there. There are a lot of hikers and some aren't into hunters. There are animals there but without horses it can be a tough hike to "get off the trails" as there are trails everywhere in there. Saw a fair amount of elk but not many deer in the valley I was in.
