Sweet. I appreciate it! I did a quick search and read up on a few Berger + Barnes threads and everyone seems to have good results, I’ve just seen some posts about those match bullets separating at closer distances. But I’m fine if a bullet separates if it means a dead elk lol. I think I’m set...
I'm curious what 6.5 PRC bullet everyone likes for elk within ~400 yards. I've seen a lot of guys talk about Berger 156 and ELD-M's, my only concern is that I'm almost positive most of my shots will be within 4-500 yards, and I know those bullets perform best when they have time to expand.

OP, I'm curious what you've landed on for ammo if you're still shooting the Seekins? I'm picking up a PH2 and have heard good things about ELD-M and Bergers in other threads as well.
Did you end up making a decision here? One thing to consider is the PH2 you can send to Seekins and swap the barrel with a 22" from the Element. However, it does cost $550 from what I've heard. I'm facing the same dilemma myself right now. A friend of a friend has the 6.5 PRC squared crest and...
Came across this thread with the announcement of the 307 Alpine CT from Weatherby. The stock looks nice, I wasn’t familiar. Hoping to get my hands on one before purchasing.

1. Tracking - I zeroed my 35 year old Savage 7mm Rem Mag with no brake at 100 yards (yes, it kicks like a mule). Using Vortex Pro rings. Progressively dialed all the way out from 1, 2, 300 on paper with...
I have the 2023 Veracity PH, non-illuminated, heavier model. I'm gonna bite the bullet and upgrade to the new model. I think I'll put the older one on my 7mm rem mag, and the new one on my new 7 PRC. I hunt in CO and would love the weight savings plus the illuminated reticle for lower light...
