I think the Torrent rain gear from Core4 is really quite as far as rain gear goes and with the pit zips it breaths pretty well also. Only a few days left to get the 25% off.

I don't think you could go wrong with the Core4 and at 25% off right now you can get some really nice stuff. I have friends that are selling their Sitka on Ebay to buy Core4. The Max1 camo might be a great pattern for where you intend to use it. Good luck in your search.
Great collection of deer. In my opinion any animal with a bow, especially a mature one is well earned no matter if it is taken in the high country or river bottoms. Thanks for sharing!
I love mine for a day pack, and have hauled out a front quarter, hind quarter, and backstraps from a spike bull in one load and had no problems. I have not had the problems that some of the others have had with zippers breaking either.
I have never used the other great clothing manufacturers clothing, but I have wore the guts out of my C4E and never had a problem with it, it still looks new after a year of hard use. I have a review on my blog of some of the pieces that I have if you are interested. For the price I don't think...
