When it's cold, I support Alberta oil and gas, I'll run the remote start twice (30min) if it's below -15. Couple buddies of mine did an "experiment" in mechanic school with different oils put in a freezer. Apparently even synthetics don't flow/lubricate properly until approximately 7*C.

The temperatures have been very mild as well, the frost is only about 8" deep in Alberta right now. Usually it's a couple feet by now. This may be really good for the wildlife
I found a random lightweight rip stop zip bag pretty much the exact dimensions of the stove folded, cost me like 10 bucks for the 3 pack pack of assorted sizes. I'll try and get a brand name when I get home. Might switch to a flimsy laptop case though.
I bought the 2.5-20 and the comments about the eye box not being forgiving makes me wonder if people don't take note of cheek weld position and or practice actually getting behind the scope quickly. I haven't had an issue with it at 20x.
