    8x32 bino help

I also picked up the Swaro 8x32 CL's this year. I used those in lieu of my Vortex Razor 10x42 this year and was completely happy with them as I really enjoyed having a smaller set this year the way I hunted. You can buy these from Cameraland as a Demo for a reasonable price. I would be careful...

    EL Swarovision issue

I will probably call Swaro, but for now, I just trimmed the rubber keeper around the hinge and they fit almost perfect. I am anxious to get them in the field after work today.

    EL Swarovision issue

Rosin, What do you use in place of the standard covers? Not the falling off I am worried about, the housing is not long enough for the rubber keeper to go on all the way and the cap to fit flush. The keeper hits the hinge first.

    EL Swarovision issue

I just bought a pair of 10x42 EL Swarovisions. Has anyone noticed that the objective lens covers do not fit on them all the way? Seems as though the housing is too short past the hinge. for those of you that noticed this, what have you done about it, or am I just too particular? Paying this much...

They feel real good to me also and I would be a bit nervous about messing up the fit. Looking forward to next weekend as I am headed out scouting and will give them (and me) a good workout.

    Lowa Tibet Leather Lined

I also bought the leather lined after running Goretex for years, very comfortable boot so far with only 15 miles on them so far. I haven't had LL boots since I was a kid, but these do feel a bit cooler than my Goretex. I have always heard to break in an all leather boot, you should soak them in...

    Goodbye Aquamira!

Thanks Aron, I am very interested in this as I am tired of carrying around 1 lb. worth of water filter, but I have never been sick either. I bought some Aquamira (I think) tabs a couple years ago but never used them but I would like to go the tablet rout this year. I assume you use some sort of...

    Leupold RX-800TBR Compact

Just received this in the mail. First impressions are very good, but I will find out over the upcoming Holiday. Sold my other rangefinder because it did not have the ARC or an incline feature like this Leupold, but at least it was waterproof. What was Leupold thinking, what was I thinking buying...

whats your on the mountain glassing set up?

Last year it was Vortex Razor 10x42 and 15x56 Vortex Kaibab with tripod . 10x42 worked very well on a tripod for most of my hunting (bow). I have an old Z rest pad that I cut up and I sit on it. I also carry an ID 5x8 tarp (8oz.) that I use when it pours and I am above treeline and works great...
