    Tyveks weight

Wow $100 for that cuben fiber thing, I'll stick to my trash bags at less than an ounce more.

Hah, no boob job....but I think I've only done about 300 push-ups since then. Got a little tired of them needless to say.

Pants similar to KUIU Attack pants?

I also have some Prana stretch Zion's. Not as durable feeling, little more lightweight, better pockets...IMO, super comfy.

    Straight, Offset, or Helical Fletching

Helical 4 vane, couldn't really tell the difference between 3 and 4, just liked the looks and my field points and BHs are dead on, kinda of a PITA to fletch.

    Iridium 9575 Extreme

I've used the 9555, mostly used text...it was rented and they billed text the same as trekker, bout half the price of placing a min phone call. all incoming texts were free, just have to school the wife up on how to use that.

    Beyond Clothing

You can send them an email and they'll send you some swaths of their material so you can get a feel for the differences if you aren't deadest on the schoeller.

    Kuiu 185/250 vs Firstlite

I just got the Kuiu 185 for Xmas, haven't washed it yet but it definitely seems to be stiffer, hence, itichier than my first lite. My first lite does have a more athletic type cut to it and the Kuiu is a bit baggier....I wear a large in both. I'm hoping the Kuiu is a little more durable as my...

Lighter than my Crocs & actually useful...

I have some all rubber minimalist shoes too, problem is the sole is so thin it hurts like hell on sharp little rocks. For sheep hunts its still worth the weight savings over crocs, the pure grits, merrells or NB look pretty nice for a little more weight.

How do you pack your gear?

My pack is mostly about accessibility and knowing where all my crap is. I keep my bag, clothing and tent on the bottom, then keep my heavy stuff against my back (food bags) and then toss my rain gear and SATPHONE up top so they are accessible. Little crap like game bags stays buried in my...

Tape for hot spots or blisters

Actually I forgot, I actually used the blister band aid then moleskin with a cutout for the blister, then duct tape....worked well. Kept me hunting

Tape for hot spots or blisters

Duct tape to prevent....after the fact I use the blister specific band aids covered with duct tape. They will stay on....I suffered through 3 nickel sized blisters for about 5 days last August. Would have been intolerable if I didn't have those blister nonstick things and an ample supply of...

what are your top 3 items not to cheap out on?

    1. Boots 2. Shelter (tent/bag/bivy) 3. Clothing Optics aren't on my list because a $3000 spotting scope won't save my life, quality clothing and shelter will. $500 boots won't save my life either but their main purpose is prevention of slips/falls/etc. in the first place.

    Rokslide Welcomes Kryptek Clothing!

Let me know how that golite jacket holds up. I picked up the Malpais this offseason, and already took the Tumalo pants out last year. didn't rain enough in the brooks to determine effectiveness. Probably not a great idea to haul that flimsy stuff around some ranges but at 14oz for my entire...

Where do you carry your rangefinder?

I use the RF Sidekick from Crooked Horn in conjuction with my Sitka bino bivy. Works great, I really like the set-up except I really wish their case would cover the RF completely instead of leaving the eyepiece completely exposed to the elements. Such a pain in the butt when rain/dirt/etc...
