My father’s archery muley buck from 1980. I was 5 years old and remember when he brought it home. He passed 10 years ago and now my nephew has the mount.
Swarovski binoculars and a sig rangefinder...bino harness fell out of the truck when we stopped for a bathroom break and I didn’t notice it. Went back to find it but someone had already picked it up.
Fwafwow, those NewWest are nice. Sometimes I travel through Napa for work (they are sold in a store front in Napa) so I will stop in and take a gander at them.
Keeping with the non traditional knives for kitchen duty (and Bark River) take a look at their Kalahari sportsman models. They have two sizes, the large has a 6.8” blade and small is 4.7”. Stainless cpm154 and thin (0.09” and 0.06”). I think they would be fantastic in the kitchen.
My hunting knife is a Phil Wilson Southfork in K390. I’ve used a number of others for hunting (bark river, buck, benchmade, spyderco) and they all have stayed at home since I got that Phil Wilson. For EDC I carry two knives, Chris Reeves small Inkosi and Fiddleback Forge Bushboot.
Update. I had to boil it a bit longer than I had hoped to get rid of the residual “stuff”. I put it in peroxide for 4 days and everything is really clean. As mentioned above, the jaw did separate and most of the teeth fell out but I have collected them. I’m gonna have to leave the skull for a...

I will for sure. Now, I need a monster sized pot for the moose skull I found this past elk season. However I should just probably put it in a hole in our garden and let the bugs do their thing.
Did not know that, thank you good sir. But if I dip it 10 seconds, 2 minutes, how long should it be in the solution?
I’ve got peroxide I’ll give that a whirl
I have not listened to it yet, but I will. Thank you.
I found a small skull (bobcat) and it’s pretty darn clean but still has a small amount of fur on the chin and tiny amounts of flesh here and there. It also has a little funk to the smell. My question is how long should I boil it for? I remember my dad boiling a pronghorn skull for 24 hours but...
This past weekend I was on my way into one of my hunting spots in D3 and stopped to take a leak. While getting out of the truck, I didn’t know this till after I got to my hunting spot, I believe my binoculars and range finder fell out of the truck and onto the road. I went back and searched but...
