I don’t know what this last week of the season was like but you can look up the shoot results for each week of the season. Recently the Wednesday Saturday Sunday shoots have had over 1,500 birds for a few weeks. But I don’t know if that number of ducks will stick around. Good luck and have fun...
Packer58. In address to firearm purchases, you also pay that tax when you purchase ammunition, and archery equipment. And as pointed out, the manufacturer pays it, but that additional cost is rolled into the overall cost of the equipment. There is also a tax on fishing equipment, the Dingall...
While the San Jose law is stupid on so many levels, the government already imposes a tax on exercising your right to bear arms…look up the 1937 Pittman Robertson Act. So the precedent is already there. Hopefully the courts will realize just how egregious this law and required insurance is.
Travis, thank you good sir. I mentioned it to her last night and she got excited. I also didn’t realize they had all those other activities for kids…I am a fly fisherman, maybe she can learn how to tie flys for her old man.
I’ve run both the Maxx and Pro on my Tacoma. The Pros had great traction and did well in a Wyoming blizzard but I only got 30k out of them. The Maxx have been great in all sorts of conditions, wet roads, snow, mud, sand, rocks and even survived a screwdriver on the highway. I’ve got 50k on them...
I chose my current Tacoma. However I did go elk hunting in a Mini Cooper once. I was looking forward to tying a big rack to the roof of that thing and driving back into California. Unfortunately I was never able to close that deal.
I’m in my late 40’s and, because of playing sports at a relatively high level for most of my life (varsity soccer starter all four years in high school, started 3 years in college and a number of years in adult competitive leagues well into my 30s) I have had a total of 5 knee surgeries. Both...
From personal experience, I have ADHD and have been taking meds for almost 10 years now. Prior to your morning dose have your child eat as big of a breakfast as they can and maybe postpone dinner a little until the drug wears off. Skipping doses over the weekends isn’t a bad thing. If it’s...
CoilOil I saw that you mentioned Phil Wilson. Have had this Southfork in K390 for 6 years now and won’t use anything else. To the OP, if you can get a Phil Wilson I would recommend it. They are made to cut until you get tired. They aren’t made for popping joints or that type of work because they...
I had hopes of a big Nevada mulie but found a little guy that someone had shot in the lower leg. His leg flopping around as he climbed up the hill, away from my buddy and I made the decision easy. Meat pole worthy and tasty.
I have a Weatherby Vanguard in .25-06, it has the standard 1-10 twist. Currently I’m shooting Barnes 100 grain TTSX with great accuracy (group sizes averaging 0.5 inches) and decent speed (3,269 average FPS). However Hammer Bullets peaked my interest so I ordered one of the 15 packs to try out...
