    Best gloves

I'm a big fan of leather insulated gloves for dexterity. I have a few pairs of Give'r gloves, but any cow/deer/elk hide glove will work. In wet weather with any warm, non-waterproof glove I like wearing a pair of nitrile/latex gloves to keep the hands dry. If you need a pair of glassing mitts...

The quest for the right mid weight pants

The Beyond Softshell pants are great, I've got two pairs of them and love them. I'd give the Eberlestock Battle Creek pants a look as well if you are looking for warm. I took a flyer on them a few weeks ago when they were 50% off. They're quiet, water repellant in a light rain, and warm with...

Best hunting pants for short legs

If you can stomach the price or find the Kebs on sale, pick up a pair. They had a 2 for 1 sale on Memorial Day at a store and I snagged them. I much prefer them over my vidda pros

Take a look at the trijicon Huron. Euro optic has a good deal on them. I have one on my RAR and it’s fantastic for the money.

    Hunting scope ~$500

I purchased and used a Huron for this deer season in Wisconsin, couldn't pass up the deal. Mounted on my Tikka, the eye relief was no issue and the reticle was great in the hardwoods in Wisconsin from sun up to sun down.

    Tikka mountain tactical bottom metal

I also had issues with the MT bottom metal, on a Stocky's VG stock and the factory stock for my Tikka. My factory mags (4 of them) wouldn't even click into place. Next time if I want one I will get the High Desert.

    stockys customer service

Same. I emailed them about a stock I ordered at 2:53 that showed in stock, and then showed backordered on my order. Not really a big deal to me, just checking on lead time and if I should just wait for the Rokstock. Kim emailed back at 2:54 that they have the stock ready to go and it ships tomorrow.
