Such a joke and a lot of us fell for it.
C-21 sucks so they tried to add an amendment that is even suckier. We all pissed and moaned so they drop the amendment and we feel like we won. Meanwhile C-21 is going to pass and they get to say they listened to the people.
No different than any...
Last year I used a crossover stabilizer on my bow but I’m going to go back to my homemade one this year that I wrapped in that vet wrap stuff. I got a tacticool Multicam roll for under $20. Makes it a lot quieter if I bump my stab on something. It also makes it look cool and if I need it for a...
The only time I flew with my bow, the release was in the bow case. I did have my bino harness in my carry on and made it through with a single .22 round I thought I dropped in the woods the week before though.
Well I ordered a dozen of the 0.003 to see how straight I can get them. I figured I could save my remaining 0.001" arrows for hunting and broad heads but I might do a video comparing the two. Showing how straight the 0.001" really are just cutting off the front end vs how straight the 0.003" are...
Anyone involved with their local archery range know what advertising is worth? We have lots of space for banners etc. and are looking to help raise funds and prizes for the 3D shoots and new targets on our not-for-profit range.
What are you getting in exchange for advertising space?
If you...
This right here.
I bought an Axius Ultra a few years ago from a local shop. They guy definitely knows his stuff but I always get the impression he doesn't want to spend any time with me. I did only buy the bare bow and a new rest but put my old sight on it to start. When I upgraded the sight I...
You will be fine with most bolt guns as long as you fill out the paperwork but be warned, as seen in a comical thread that was just locked you can’t have suppressors in Canada.
Just check the list before you come. They have slipped in some bolt/hunting guns because some models can be chambered...
You are probably partially right. I bet they enjoy messing with Americans coming up here who think they are above Canada's laws. Maybe not so much with the ones who don't try and get away with something.
Being Canadian I won't disagree with your last line but you did try and bring things that are prohibited in this country across the border and didn't tell them about one of them. What do you expect will happen? What book says it's ok for you to have a suppressor in Canada when I can't buy one...
British Columbia’s archery elk season is September 1-9. Rifle season with 6 points or more antler restrictions in most places starts September 10th before prime rut time and runs until October 20th in most areas.
Thanks for all the replies so far. I have found a 6 pack of match grade shafts at older prices I might order along with some non-match grade ones. I could get real nerdy and bring them to work and measure them up on the surface table to see how close I can get to straight with the 0.003" ones.
Yeah I’ve found they are usually a little different after fletching. I should clarify that when I nock tune I’m trying to get the best tear out of each arrow but also get the same tear out of each arrow. Makes it easier to tune the bow so they all fly the same after.
I haven’t done the spine indexing thing either. I nock tune the bare shafts to get the best paper tear I can before fletching. I think it accomplishes the same thing.
I've been using the Axis match 5mm for the last while but the price has almost doubled since I bought my last dozen about a year ago. The non-match ones are now the same price I paid last February so I'm wondering if anyone has figured out an average of how much straighter the arrows are if you...
If they are sentimental keep them. If it’s a bunch of stuff you don’t or won’t use and they don’t mean anything to you, sell them off and put the money towards something really nice you will use.
