I've ran out of shit tickets (brought 1 roll for 8 days) in the mountains before and had to rip the insides out of my pockets. Not ideal but it worked and I had to find a new place to put my wallet on the drive home.
Haven't used the Grumman, but have used the Kelvin Down Lite. I wasn't all that impressed. I think any of the mountaineering brands are much better for the price. I picked up a Montbell alpine light after a client I guided had one. I think it's tough to beat that for the price. If you're an...

It was on the list I received at work yesterday morning, probably slow updating the website. It is the feds after all.
Being a Canadian who spent a great deal of time in Europe, yes, I can confirm that unfortunately our young backpackers have attained new heights of douchiness. I spent a year racing bicycles in Europe and I was almost routinely embarrassed by the behaviour of my countrymen and women. I only...
Thinking back to all of the things I've done outside of hunting, like calf roping, bull riding, mountain bike racing, and hockey ... I can definitely say that I'd be working in the porn industry.
If you were to draw (which might be a long shot unless Alberta upped the 2 non-resident sheep tags), you would need a guide/outfitter or resident no matter which zone or park you were drawn in.
I'm honestly not surprised, our federal government is incapable of making decisions among other things. I think one of the reasons they only appear through zoom is that way no one can see their velcro shoes.
Devolution wouldn't mean any change to the border situation. Devolution is about empowering the territories (Yukon, NWT, and Nunavut) with the constitutional powers of a province, the U.S.-Canada border is under federal jurisdiction under our Constitution Act.
As for good border news...
Started getting migraines when I was a teenager. My doctor was of the opinion that it was a combination of genetics and concussions (who knew that could happen between hockey and rodeo?). I don't get them near as often now, but they're still debilitating. The one trigger I've been able to...
Currently there hasn't been much movement by the Feds. Between their mishandling of vaccine procurement and a number of variants spreading across the country that slipped past our "border controls," I don't know if I can see them opening the border until our vaccine distribution numbers get a...
I've had good results both partitions and accubonds, currently shooting 300 gr accubonds out of my 375 h&h. Reloading for my h&h and for a buddy's 375 ruger I've been using VV n540 lately. I've also used reloder 17 and winchester 760 for powders.
Got my second shot on Thursday. Had chills and muscle aches starting Friday at about 4 am until yesterday evening. One side effect I did not expect was the abundant and almost nauseating farting. I made the dog leave the room a few times.
You're not alone. Had to explain the garmin fenix 6x on my wrist today and answer why we don't have a new mattress.....going mattress shopping tomorrow.
I'm using a sky talus 6900 with the Xcurve frame. Used the pack for a few years of guiding and it was able to accommodate 7 days worth of gear fairly easily.
