Kurt, the new approach 2800 looks to be the perfect day pack. I have the 1800 and I love it, but I just needed a little more room for most of my hunts. (I hunt a lot with my 3 year old, so I need extra room for snacks etc.) and also love that you put the zipper in front of the buckle on this...
So I just want something to put in my Crispi summits, The insoles that come with the summit seem a bit hard but in general I love the comfort of the boot. I might have a collapsed arch or just low arch, trying to figure out what super feet to order. Their insole finder says Trail Blazer but...
Hey Guys I am waiting to do a 7 saum on my factory Rem 700 short action. So I am looking for the following, willing to do a remage.
A. 7 mm/Saum Barrel OR BLANK in CARBON fiber 16-20 inches. (No longer)
B. I would also consider a 7 saum Steel barrel if it was already 16-18 inches and chamber...
I actually get a huge discount on this brand too. Do you know if the Marmot PRecip is is fully waterproof, it doesnt say anything about gortex. or a waterproof rating. I wonder which is better the precip or precip eco.
That military gortex is a Good Idea, I am however hoping to find something lightweight to just leave in my pack basically. I might have to check out my local surplus store.
Hey guys I am sure this has been covered but In my searching, I didn't find to much. I would love to hear from you all what is some rain gear you all have tried that was budget-friendly and got the job done well for the one of situations we will all run into. I tried the Frogg disposable type...
Yeah maybe i should just consider the access bag. But I wonder how well that does with the approach 1800 which mounts a bit different that the other bags worried it would cause slop.
As far as quick access goes, I hunt with my 3 year old a LOT so he is always needing things from out of my bad...
Yeah I have one, maybe I need to try the larger one. But the problem is in the 1800 i run a water bladder so that takes up a lot of the internal space.
Hey fellas, I am struggling here. I have two SG bags. One is an 1800 approach and the other is a 40/56. I have a lid I use and what not.
I typically pack for the unexpected, so the 1800 is only enough room for scouting trips, and turkey hunts, or deer hunts where a spotter and tripod is not...
I just bought some Sig Kilo 3000s and they only work with the Kestrel 5700/elite with link.
Like new condition.
Can throw in some cash or a bino harness if you have the 5700 elite.
Would consider just a 5700 with link.
I also will be selling my Bushnell elite 1 mile range finder that works...
