Montana Rifle Co, Shoot2Hunt, and Rokslide Rifle

The true question is which rifle to order out the gate - 6 creed or 22 creed. I see a lot of people touting the 22 creed right now but it’s hard to ignore the various bullet choices for 6 creed. Either way - I don’t own either caliber so it would be a good way to justify a new rifle

    77 grain Barnes match burners

Does anyone have any experience with 77 grain Barnes match burners? Lots of info on TMK obviously, and discussion on sierra OTMs and being less than ideal terminally, but I don’t see a lot of people using matchburners. @Formidilosus I saw you mention the 112s being pretty devastating in 6...

    .223 trainer

If your budget allows it, yes. I set mine up in identical stocks, initially with my 6.5 PRC with a maven and my 223 with a Swfa. I snagged another maven last month and will slap it on after the season and have them near identical, with the differences being barrel length and suppressors on the end.

Montana Rifle Co, Shoot2Hunt, and Rokslide Rifle

I’m always interested when good companies put their names behind something and people who shoot actually endorse it. But if this is a way to get a wood rokstok and a decent action with everything ready to go out the gate, I’m in. I’ve personally had “custom” guns that were really just...

Hunting Rifle Decision: Your Most Accurate Rifle or Favorite Cartridge

Even the best shooter shouldn’t be hunting with a gun that shoots 2.5 Moa, not with modern rifles and ammunition. Just no excuse. But that doesn’t mean most shooters are capable of being 2.5 MOA shooters, let alone sub minute. While I don’t like the YouTube challenges because guys will...

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

There’s an older hunter I used to hunt with in Georgia. He said he always shot through the shoulders because even if they were in two wheel drive, they weren’t going far. Seems they were on to something there

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

Can confirm. Shot a doe there two weeks ago and she dropped on the spot. In fact the only other animal I’ve seen drop that fast was a bull elk last year when he took one to the base of the neck. Though I’m sure if you shot with any other good bullet it would do the same. but it’s quick and...

I did it myself. It’s just like you putting a muzzle device on and then a suppressor. Except you don’t have to worry about timing.
