Parallax adjustment - check
Zero stop- check
Capped turrets - check
Reliable operation - check (assuming nothing changed with the internals)
So yes, it should be a great option. But I do prefer the reticle in my 6x to the one in the 3-15 (or any with the open diamond reticle). If I needed a...
Assuming that their three best sellers are the 3-9, 6x, and 3-15, why not focus production efforts there? While they updated the 3-15, the reticle looks like the same one they had in the 3-15 before. Seems like an attempt to show they are still alive without putting much into it.
You’re not...
Not sure what you are asking? Are you saying a 300 wm (or other 30 cal magnums) give you more penetration or “insurance” to take quartering or harder angle shots?
I would take the same shots with a 6.5 that I would with a 300 wm. For example I took a very hard quartering away shot with a bedded...
I bet they will sell a bunch. Especially if they keep their pricing point.
They have a reputation for making scopes that work well as aiming devices without the frills. If they address a few modern points - like zero stop or capped windage options they will gain a bunch of customers who...
If I were hand loading I’d be looking hard at the 130 TMK as well. I’m shooting the 147 now and for factory ammo it’s killing everything I shoot out of my chopped t3x 6.5 PRC, but the TMK is what I would try if I were hand loading.
I had been looking to snag a pair of the rangers but these might be more what I am looking for - a boot for general mucking around and some southern hunts or hunts that aren’t needing the grip from my vivo tracker esc.
Wore the fjallraven Kebs on my most recent mule deer hunt. Great pants the pockets are well thought out. Provides great stretch and the front and bottom vents are a nice touch. The reinforced seat or front won’t prevent small Colorado cactus from poking through (that’s that I get for dropping...
Full season with my tracker esc’s which includes rucking and preparation for my hunts, coastal deer hunting and colorado mule deer hunt. By far the most comfortable boots I have owned. It was a real testament in the mountains as I felt so much more control when walking. I’ve had several guys ask...
I have a 6x sitting on my 223 that I was planning to swap for rs1.2 but I’ll hold out until the weekend to see. Of course I’m about to just jump to a minox for that reticle
I just looked at it only has two scopes listed in the SS line - the 2.5-10 and the 1-4 and 3-9 with everything else discontinued. They also directly link people to buy over here

Would be great if something real popped back up - but how can they really make up...
Rokstok continues to deliver. 4 deer taken with two rifles this year. This was the most recent. Found a nice rocky outcrop with a Y shaped tree which I used as a front rest. The rifle stock fit perfectly in and made the 400 yard shot easy.
Thank you. I’ll still look to use TMK primarily if hunting. But I’m getting a really solid deal on some 5.56 loaded with those. If nothing else they will provide a great training round
Third deer this season with the 6.5 PRC. This thing continues to impress me.
Tikka t3x 6.5 PRC cut to 20”
Factory 147 ELD-m
MV 2735
Impact velocity 2307
Spotted him bedded at 848 yards. Worked my way to 400 but had three does between me and him so I couldn’t get closer without getting busted...
I’m hunting in Colorado next week, so while it’s a factor for consideration if I wanted “one gun” it’s not a big one unless I sell my 6.5 PRC and have nothing. That said, I would prefer some more factory loaded options for 22 creed. It’s interesting that 88 eldm isn’t being offered right now.
