For those of you with experience on the MSR Lightning Ascent, can you pack heavy loads (meat) without worrying about breaking them? They’re advertised for max weight of 180 pounds.
I have zero snowshoe experience but am going to be getting some soon specifically for backcountry hunting.
Edit...
You’d have to look at First Lite’s sizing chart and decide. I’d say they’re “true to size” but I’m not sure how helpful that is. They do sit higher on the waist than a typical pant so you’d have to factor that in.
I had them pull out of the ground on a high wind day. I don’t like them at all. Switched them out for HMG 8-inch aluminum nails, all my problems went away after that.
VEO 2 PH-26 2-way pan head from Vanguard.
This is a take-off from a BlackOvis Alpine Pro tripod kit. Has been used for two years - good condition. I used it mostly with a pair of 18x binos.
$70 tyd, Venmo preferred.
I have a First Lite Klamath Hoody - size Large, Fusion camo.
I think I have worn it in the the field one morning for about an hour. It’s never been washed, never been sweat in. No piling. NWOT condition.
$100 $80 tyd, preferably Venmo.
