You think community exposure from a fire at a smelting plant is equivalent to hunters who MIGHT ingest some lead?
Can you point me to all the hunters who have died from ingesting lead from bullets? We’ve been using lead bullets for a long time so I’m guessing there is tons of evidence.

Someday hunters will start to understand that hunting/2A (it’s the same fight) is under attack from every single angle possible. Many states are getting “anti’s” on the commissions for one specific reason while most hunters sit there with their thumbs up their ass arguing about tag allocations...
This is the crux of the issue. Until we can openly and factually talk about who and where gun violence is being committed, nothing will change. Neither side wants it to change though because it gives them talking points and $$$$.

I think that’s a slippery slope we don’t want to head down.
I can see the anti-2A using that against us. Headline “Even hunters banned these weapons from use”….a la Australia
I’m guessing the f&w depts would not be too happy losing all that NR money in their budgets.
Any resident not hunting because it’s not easy enough isn’t all that interested in hunting in the first place.
For many of us a “target” bullet has produced outstanding results. They are lethal!
Honestly, with how much they are discussed I can’t believe people still think that.
