Just adding to this update instead of creating a new thread. Had my original pair for several weeks. Similar to the OP here I absolutely LOVE these boots! Comfortable, stable enough for my needs. light weight, roomy toe box, etc. However, after approximately three weeks of use the second...
Can't help you out as a partner as I'm not going to CO, but someone should take this guy up on his offer! Thank you for your service and good luck this season...I hope you get a monster!!
Schnee's Beartooth II's in size 10. Just not a good fit for my feet. Probably 50-70 miles on them just locally to break in. Looking for a size 10 in something the likes of a Scarpa Ribelle HD or similar.
I either smoke mine using a dry brine, grill it on tinfoil with butter, sliced onion, and seasoning of choice, or I'll sometimes even use the air fryer. I grew up eating lakers from Lake Superior so I'm ok with them, but if they're too fat we either tossed em back or if we couldn't get them to...
Elite E35 was my all around favorite. I should have never sold that one. I've been shooting a V3X 33 all summer now and I have to say I'm really enjoying shooting this bow now. It's still behind the E35 but in a pretty firm #2 spot for me.
P365 currently, but intrigued by the Hellcat Pro or G43x MOS.
On a side note, I've got the Shadow Systems XR920 (same as 19x) and you're all right....that gun size just fits a sweet spot for me. Maybe a winter season cc.
As much as I want these boots to work for my feet they just don't. I've got a set of Schnee's Beartooth uninsulated in size 10 up for sale. They've got an estimated 60-75 miles on them and have two coats of Obenauf's leather conditioner applied. There's a small cut in the rand on the toe of...
Just got mine in yesterday and went for a quick hike. 30lb pack and maybe 600' elevation gain over a mile. Total hike of 2.3 miles. Nothing too extreme but man these boots fit me well! Zero hot spots. Good room in the toe box. Ankles locked in well so my foot wasn't moving on the down hill...
I didn't read every reply to this thread but I just went through this exact scenario. Had an '18 F150. Cam phaser issues with the 3.5 Eco. I got jittery and bailed on it because the market was good. Went to a '21 4Runner Venture for same reasons you stated in your first post. Smaller...
Been looking at these for a while now and just pulled the trigger on a set. I'm hoping this hits a sweet spot between stiff mountaineering boot and casual hiker that I always seem to be looking for.
Received my Tracker ESC's last week. Finally used them on a weighted pack hike last night. Not going to lie, they're different considering I'm coming from more of a mountaineering boot for similar work. But I do wear zero drop shoes (Altra LP's) on a daily basis so it's not like I'm starting...
