I've got a pile of Leathermans and a Victorinox Swisstool. The Swisstool is great, but mine doesn't have one handed blade opening which is a pain for how often I use it at work.
I always come back to the skeletool.
I've spent ridiculous amounts of time looking at maps and aerial views online (like I'm sure everyone here) only to be humbled once boots hit the ground. I'm just finding out now that a BLM area I was looking at for access and camping, may not actually be accessible. That's all part of it. If...
I've only used earth tone solids in that area. They're gonna spot you, it's just a matter if you can fool them for long enough to get close and get a shot off. Their eyes are pretty incredible.
I had a friend that worked on a pipeline with her husband. They bought some giant camper and were living out of that near whatever pipeline they were working on for years.
They had a kid and eventually got divorced. He was still working on the pipeline, she settled in MN with their daughter to...

I seriously wanted the X-ten but there's tons of videos on YouTube with the mags binding up with all brands of ammo - even the Sig 180gr V-crown stuff - seemed like a...
I had all the same issues and handled about everything mentioned here. I ended up getting the Glock 20.
The FN is nice, and smaller in the grip but its nearly twice as much and future support is a concern.
The Sig 10s have serious issues from what I've seen. I'm a Sig fanboy and that would...
I had to do exactly this same thing with mine about a year ago and posted the results on here as well. Haven't had any further issues since filing that lip off.
Reached out to Mtn Tactical and never got a response.
We got a 10x10 with the portico panels and really like it. It goes up a lot faster than you'd think. Seems to stay warmer at night, and cooler during the day than anything else I've used.
The only cons are that they're huge when packed.
I went with a Springbar due to the reported customer...
