    I used the Jim Shockey edition havalon knife this year and I really like it, both a fixed blade and a scalpel blade in one. Stayed very sharp after quartering up 3 deer this fall

    12 Gauge vs 20 Gauge for bird hunting

    I've used both and I prefer a light weight 20 gauge that you can swing faster on birds. But I'm mostly hunting pheasants.
