I would tend to agree with the sentiment of starting with your own state and using that to have a tag every year if it has mule deer. I’m just starting to hunt out of state and from my perspective with drawing out of state tags, I’d do 2 things. Make sure your buying bonus points/preference...
What kind of shape is the bag in? I have the sky archer I would trade that’s a year old. It got some blood on it this year, but is in pretty good shape.
Oregon - I think they do a good job of maintaining the opportunity to hunt. Even though the quantity of animals on the animals landscape is not what it should be.
Wanting to sell my M5 Rain pants. I’ve warn them once on a hunt and once out snow shoeing. There are some very small stains/faint stains on the front legs and seat. I’ve provided some pictures that show them. Asking $175 tyd.
I have that exact scope on my rifle. I’d say you can run it pretty late in the day and early in the morning. I’ve never had a problem running from legal shooting light to legal shooting light. The bigger objective would make it even better, but I think the 44 mm objective should do fine.
Glad I found this thread! Anybody sent their brass in to be reloaded? I want to get some of my brass for the 300 prc loaded with the 215 Berger after seeing how it performed on my friends mule deer this year. Is there that much up a benefit to sending in brass that’s been shot through your gun...
Looking to sell my Hoyt carbon RX-1. I’ve been focusing on rifle hunts and want to get this thing off the shelf so I can hopefully take advantage of some other Black Friday deals. I bought this bow new when they were released and it’s been on a a few elk hunts. It’s in great shape and I’d like...
That’s a pretty reasonable way to go about it. My home state is looking pretty good for next year but I’m in the final years of friends getting married and I’ve got 2 weddings in early October….I think I’m going CO third season.
Yeah, non resident in both states. I haven’t hunted either of them. I was thinking Colorado because they have so many season options, but have heard it can get pretty crowded.
Looking at rifle mule deer for next year. Utah and Colorado have a pretty decent amount of opportunity hunts that are low or no points. If you had to pick one, which would you choose and why?
Just wondering the fit on a bino harnass for the sig stabilized binos. Looking at switching my optics setup for next year and they look like they might be an odd fit for most harnesses. Thoughts?
Anybody have any insight on the neoair topo luxe? It looks like a newer pad and I'm upgrading this year. The debate is kinda between that xlite/xtherm. I'm worried the other 2 will be a little narrow and I'm not super concerned with the weight difference.
