I recently had to send in a 1 year old pair of 15’s for repair. They were out of Collimation. Likely due to me dropping them. I recieved the same note from Katerina Gavendova that was posted above. The shipping from idaho to the overseas factory cost me about $100 because I insured them for less...

USFS tends to close very large areas around fires. IMO, you are probably not scouting close enough to the fires to be looking in areas that deer have been displaced. Deer just keep doing deer stuff unless actually pushed off the feed areas by fire or fire related activity. I suspect you are not...
post the video so we can see it!
The video screen shot shows pretty solid back end with decent fork depth. My guess is 159-163+ I would be shocked if that deer was under 152”.
Please shoot this fall and report back to us.

You and timberline are absolutely correct about that. Many don’t realize how much the perception of scarcity affects human behavior. Going to a draw results in more people fighting for same amount of tags.
A lot of the so called “top tags” aren’t even better than the unpopular tags. Look at sawtooth elk for example. Terrible winter range makes for very very few elk with large antlers and the units are under objective, yet folks think it’s one of the best tags in the state. I hunt it and it’s fine...
