My Lowa Tibet GTX boots make me sad.......

I had the exact same issue with my Lowa Tibet GTX. I avoided wearing them for 3 years until my Danner's blew up day 2 of the hunting season. I was forced to wear my Lowa's in +25C heat and I wore wool socks. After a week of spot and stalk hunting, the heat and sweat molded the boots to my feet...

Broadhead for elk?

This past season I shot the 100 gr Widowmaker from Black Widow Innovations. I'm shooting 70 lb Bowtech REALM, 3" draw, 100 grain head, total arrow weight of 400 grains, with a speed right around 293 fps Every year I shoot at least one elk and most years I shoot two elk. I don't understand why...

Ewe Hunts

My wife harvested her first ever sheep this past season, a ewe. It took her 6 points to pull the tag. In Alberta we can build Trophy (Rams) and Non Trophy (Ewe's) points at the same time.

The Gordon Buck hasn't reported a net score yet, the Sask buck was 291 net. Also, Ed Broder was 355 net, 10 inches bigger than this buck's gross..... Just saying.... ;)
