I took a 46% pay cut to save my life. No regrets!
I was smart to buy all my toys, optics, side by side... etc while still making bank. At 55, that stuff will last me until I can't hike the hills anymore.
Yeah, mostly for late season glassing. I would have a pair of wool gloves underneath.
Reading the description, I didn’t realized they’re not waterproof, so those are out. Now looking at the Northstar.
Good info. Thanks.
I hate gloves that fit good in the hand, but one or two fingers are an inch too long! These gloves being a glomitt, maybe that won’t an issue.
Every manufacture is so different, it’s why I like to try them on. Can’t do that with Kuiu.
I might just order two sizes and...
Yup. Looking at the Super Down Pro Glomitt.
Question: Are their gloves true to size? If I follow their measuring guide, I'll get the correct size?
Gloves are one thing I always like to try on in person.
Last October, I bought a brand new 2023 Tradesman 2500 Ram Crew Cab 4x4 with the 6.4 Hemi.
Haven’t towed anything heavy yet, just my utility trailer loaded with my Can Am Defender and it’s been decent on gas milage. But I knew going in gas mileage wasn’t the reason I bought it, so my...
You'll be fine. Sounds like you're prepared and have a good plan. I stopped hunting the August OTC. Just too hot and uncomfortable for me.
Like others have said, just stay hydrated, even in the high country. Sounds like you're coming from back east, so your body will want lots of water...
I don't use mine anymore. Never felt comfortable changing blades, especially in the field. One slip, then it's go time with the clock ticking!
I'm back to my old trusty Buck folding knife. Or fixed blades when at camp.
Not knocking the knife, damn good knife, but too sketchy for me.
A random thought entered my head while glassing early Saturday morning. lol
Do you guys like the arm pointing out way from you? Or do you like the arm right in front, closest to face?
I glass with the arm on my face side. Tried reversing and it felt unnatural. Maybe due to muscle memory...
Not directed at anyone on this thread, but never understood going cheap on the one piece of equipment that has a direct impact on your safety/life.
It’s the one vehicle expense I never compromise with.
I got tired of buying a license every year. So one day, I said F* it, and bought the hunting and fishing combo.
It’s not cheap, but the convenience is well worth the price tag. It’s so nice not having to worry about buying a license every year.
Good deal, but not surprised.
Lack of communication has a detrimental effect on any organization or business. It's what drives most front line workers crazy!
I'll cut then some slack and hope a summary info page is added soon.
