I would not recommend the sig if you want 1000 yards. I have the 1400bdx and really like it, but it maxes out on whitetail at just over 600 yards. As stated previously, I expect about half the distance they say. I would not hesitate on the 2200 or a vortex either.
I've been at my current employer for 2.5 years. Don't let 36 hours change your opinion, look at it as a whole. My bosses know my aspirations, and will help me get there. There are no substitutes for happiness. As others have mentioned, owning your own business is a 24/7 gig. I started a...
Stratus bibs with 2 midweight layers will get me to low 30s but I get cold after a few hours. I added the equinox midi bottoms this year and can comfortably sit all day with them and a midweight layer under the stratus bibs all day.
Spartan are the best cell cams on the market. If you feel the cuddelinks are expensive for what you get, you probably wont like the spartan price though. Tactacam is nothing compared to the spartan, and the range is garbage. Browning defenders are decent. I want to get some of the covert...
There are a bunch of sales going on, just depends what you want for clothing. I swore I would never spend Sitka gear type money on hunting clothes, then I tried Sitka on. I now wear Sitka and have never been more comfortable in a stand. Everywhere has Sitka at least 20% off currently, which...
The only safety issue is replacing the blade in the field. I've done it numerous times with bloody hands and haven't had a problem, but it could be an accident waiting to happen. The blades don't hold an edge great, but that's not what they are made for, it's a cheap steal scalpel blade. I've...
They run true to size for the most part. I don’t think they are too narrow either, I have a wide toe box and they fit great.

For that price, I would go with the foxpro fusion, shockwave, or one of the X series calls. I have the fusion and love that thing. The remote is the best on the market, and the calls are durable. Best thing about sticking with the foxpro, you can download sounds from your buddies computer...
What grain buffalo bore and underwood do you shoot? I've heard of issues with the 220 but the 200 running fine. The only thing I have done to mine or plan to is add a venom red dot.
My gen 4 runs flawlessly so far. I havent tried buffalo bore yet, but I would upgrade at least the spring if not the barrel if I was in bear country and wouldn't look back. It's a glock, its almost indestructible.
The problem with rubber boots is there is no air circulation. I could not go uninsulated, but a mid 800-1000 gram boot wearing just a liner sock most of the way in then stopping to put on a heavier wool sock will help. Once my feet sweat I'm done, doing this and also using a boot blanket like...
I have a big game hang on that stays on a tree, its comfortable and large, I could use it all day. I just got a hawk helium XL to pack in and out, its lighter and probably a better quality, platform is similar sie and the seat is fantastic too.
I have the Vitals 800 or 1000 grams, they are comfortable and fairly light. My only issue was they were no where near water resistant out of the box. Once I used camp dry on them twice they have been great since. If you are looking for a boot that doesnt offer much ankle support, they are...
Doubt its the primers. Muzzleloaders are finicky. Try white hot powder and several different powerbelts. I use whitehots and copper or aerolite powerbelts, but if I switch to lead powerbelts its extremely inaccurate. Same goes for different powders.
